Sam Perkins

Vice President of Fieldwork and US Qualitative Research Services

SIS Vice President of Fieldwork and US Qualitative Research Services  

During his tenure SIS International Research, Sam has executed over 100 studies in the US. He has expertise in conducting medical research, low incidence market research, consumer and business-to-business research.

Prior to joining SIS, Sam held senior editor positions at various media. He was Editor-in-Chief of Zagat Magazine, and was Executive Editor of Wine Enthusiast Magazine. He held previous positions with Parenting Magazine and Reader’s Digest. Mr Perkins was an Editorial Director of Icon-Nicholson and Iconmedialab.

Sam is the Co-author of Alexis Lichine’s Guide to the Wines and Vineyards of France (A.A. Knopf). He is fluent in French and is also conversant in German. He attended the Lycee Vaugelas, Chambery, France.

He graduated with a BS in Philosophy from Harvard University.
