Environment & Sustainability
SIS International has implemented a multifaceted company-wide policy to reduce energy usage. An example of this was in 2008, when our New York offices removed all incandescent light bulbs and replaced them with highly efficient CFL light bulbs. Part of this policy was that lights would be turned off when rooms were not occupied. As our NYC offices were initially designed to minimize heat usage during winter, this integrated effort allowed those offices to reduce their energy usage by an astounding 20% year-on-year.
We use innovative technology in many of our global operations, reducing our carbon footprint. Further, we have a track record of objectively researching the impact of climate change on business and green technology. This research helps our clients to make a difference in the environment.
